Windows that were destined for the scrapheap can now be saved with minimal household disturbance, thanks to the Repair Care system.

Many window frames, doors and other timber structures are scrapped because of decay; however, in many cases, less than 10% of the structure is rotten, resulting in 90% serviceable timber being wasted.

We are trained in the Repair Care process, which comprises identification and removal of the decay and rebuilding of the joinery in-situ, using products that are waterproof, solvent-free and virtually odourless. In almost all cases, the original glass and fittings can be saved and internal decorations are unaffected. The system can save considerable amounts compared with costly replacement of windows, and with significantly less upheaval. It is ideal for use in conservation areas and on listed buildings, where replacement options are often limited and expensive.
